Prior to laying any floor covering, the existing substrate is assessed for levelness, moisture content, adhesion suitability, and structural integrity. Where deficiencies are identified, remediation works — including self-levelling compound application, priming, or moisture barrier installation — are carried out to meet the tolerance requirements specified by the flooring manufacturer.

Certain parquet and flooring systems are technically compatible with underfloor heating installations, subject to product-specific thermal resistance (Rλ) limits and maximum operating temperature restrictions defined by the flooring manufacturer. RENOVEX specifies and installs only underfloor heating-approved flooring products in such applications, with adequate acclimatisation periods observed prior to installation and commissioning protocols adhered to during system start-up.

Quality control is applied at each stage of the installation process, from subfloor moisture readings and flatness verification before laying commences, through to joint tightness inspection, surface finish assessment, and expansion gap confirmation at perimeters upon completion. All materials are sourced from certified suppliers, and installation procedures follow manufacturer-issued technical guidelines and applicable EN installation standards.
